Peridance Center, in partnership with Capezio/Ballet Makers Inc. is proud to announce it’s new location in the historic Beaux Arts-style building at 126 East 13th Street, near 4th Avenue at the beautiful Union Square area. The center, officially known as Peridance Capezio Center has opened its doors.
Whether you are a beginner, an established professional dancer, or anywhere in between, Peridance Capezio Center's first-rate faculty will challenge and encourage you to reach your goals. With almost 30 years as one of New York City's leading dance schools, Peridance Capezio Center presents a range of traditional and cutting-edge techniques for the ultimate dance education experience.
In partnership with Capezio/Ballet Makers Inc., Peridance moved to its beautiful new location in the heart of New York City. The Center houses 16,000 square feet of column-free, state-of-the-art studios. Choose from over 250 different weekly classes in everything from ballet to Zumba! See the latest works by emerging and established choreographers at the 160-seat Salvatore Capezio Theater, or relax and energize at its café. You can also satisfy all your shopping needs at the Capezio dancewear boutique located the lower level.
At Peridance, all of the adult classes are open, so you can join in anytime during the year at the level that best suits you. Check out the online schedule and explore the current classes and teachers. In addition to a multitude of open classes, you can choose from many exciting workshops offered throughout
the year. Workshops and master classes at Peridance offer a unique opportunity for students not only to view but also to fully experience the work and methods of major choreographers, master teachers, and directors. They also serve as a platform for participants to be seen by these teaching artists.
