Capezio is proud to announce the opening of its first two Capezio Stores in two major cities within Europe - Amsterdam and London.

It's been well over 100 years since Salvatore Capezio first opened his shoe repair shop across from the old Metropolitan Opera House in New York (then situated at 39th and Broadway). Today, the Capezio Dance Theatre Shops will proudly carry on our commitment to serving the dance community. Both locations will carry the full European range, along with closeout styles that can be bought at great prices.

We're located approximately in the middle of Tottenham Court Road, Holborn and Covent Garden Tube Stations. Covent Garden station is closest. Endell Street runs parallel to Neal Street, with Neals Yard just around the corner.

Standing with your back to Covent Garden Tube Station facing Marks & Spencers, turn right and walk up Long Acre for about 10 meters. You'll reach a mini round-a-bout in the middle of the road. Turn left, this is Endell Street

Move It review

March 6th to March 9th 2008 saw one the biggest Dance events of the year in the UK and Capezio was proud to have been a part of the event; Move It brought together every style of dance under one roof for three amazing days.

Capezio had a strong presence at the show, with one of the larger bespoke stands showcasing the entire range.

Move It also gave us the opportunity to work alongside a few of the Master teachers from Celebrity Dance Competitions www.celebritydancecompetitions.com Nick Gonzalez and Michele Alana, Celebrity Master Class teachers from Celebrity were on hand to give advice and each gave a master class session – all classes were full to bursting point!

Nick Gonzalez

Nick Gonzalez embodies the talent of not only a great performer, but also an innovative choreographer and skilled instructor. His performance abilities have placed Nick in the Top 25 male dancers on Season 1 and 2 of FOX Networks smash hit "So You Think You Can Dance". He has appeared in such music videos as Usher’s "Yeah", and graced the stages at the MTV Video Music Awards with Pitbull. Nick’s performance credits also include The Ying Yang Twins, Red Man, Savion Glover and many more. Nick is Also a Faculty member of Broadway Dance Center in Tokyo Japan

Michelle Alana

Michelle is an up and coming dancer and choreographer that has been dancing for 15 years and a part of the professional dance industry for the past 5 years. She is trained in Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, Hip Hop, Latin, and Ballroom dancing. She is currently a captain of the Phoenix Coyotes dance team “The Pack”

We were also very proud to be partnered with Bird College to present a stunning collection of innovative designs and show stopping choreography, watch this space for the video clip.
